“Mashu” in Tablet 9, the Twin Peaks of Masios/Masis/Ararat especially
since the worker’s names are northern in origin. Especially note
that the Epic of Gilgamesh which consists of 12 tablets in its final form
was nevertheless compiled from several separate Sumerian and other
stories and Tablets 9 and 11 are separate texts with
apparently differing textual histories.
